区域全面经济伙伴关系协定签订

The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), covering nearly a third of the global population and about 30 percent of global GDP, was signed by its 15 members on Sunday at the fourth RCEP summit in Hanoi. It is the world's biggest free trade agreement (FTA).

11月15日，区域全面经济伙伴关系协定15个成员国在河内举行的第四次区域全面经济伙伴关系协定领导人会议上，正式签署区域全面经济伙伴关系协定。它是全球最大的自贸协定，15个成员国总人口、经济体量均占全球总量约30%。

Participating countries include the 10 member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and China, Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand.

RCEP成员国包括东盟10国与中国、日本、韩国、澳大利亚和新西兰。

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang stressed that "the signing of the RCEP is not only a landmark achievement of East Asian regional cooperation, but also a victory of multilateralism and free trade."

国务院总理李克强表示，该协定的签署“不仅仅是东亚区域合作极具标志性意义的成果，更是多边主义和自由贸易的胜利。”

Moreover, the preferential results of the agreement directly benefit consumers and enterprises and will play an important role in enriching consumer market choices and reducing enterprises' trade costs, the ministry noted. 

此外，财政部指出，该协定的优惠成果直接惠及消费者和行业企业，将为丰富消费市场选择、降低企业贸易成本发挥重要作用。

Among these new emojis, "broken" i.e. 裂开 liè kāi or "split-off" is straight from Chinese online slang, which could be used to signal frustration.

The new emojis have become a trending topic on Chinese microblogging platform Weibo, sparking discussions about meanings behind these different faces.

Some netizens think the new emojis are a perfect illustration of a laborer's day, while some hope WeChat can continue to introduce new emojis, such as a split dog.

Huawei to sell Honor brand

Huawei has signed a deal with Shenzhen Zhixin New Information Technology Co., Ltd. to sell all business assets related to its Honor mobile phone brand, according to the company's statement on Tuesday.

11月17日，华为发表声明称，已与深圳市智信新信息技术有限公司签署了收购协议，完成对荣耀品牌相关业务资产的全面收购。

Shenzhen Zhixin New Information Technology Co., Ltd. was jointly founded by Shenzhen Smart City Technology Development Group Co., Ltd. and over 30 agents and dealers of the Honor brand.

深圳市智信新信息技术有限公司，由深圳市智慧城市科技发展集团与30余家荣耀代理商、经销商共同投资设立。

The deal, first proposed by the over 30 agents and dealers, has been made by Honor's industry chain to "ensure its own survival," according to the statement, and is expected to help Honor's channel sellers and suppliers through the tough time.

根据声明，这笔交易最早由这30余家代理商和经销商提议，是荣耀的一次产业链自救行为，有望帮助荣耀的渠道销售商和供应商渡过难关。

The change of ownership will not impact Honor's development direction, based on the statement. Meanwhile, once the sale is complete, Huawei will "not hold any shares or be involved in any business management or decision-making activities in the new Honor company."

我国成功追索68件流失英国文物

China retrieves 68 cultural relics from Britain

A total of 68 cultural relics have been returned to China from Britain, said the National Cultural Heritage Administration (NCHA) on Wednesday.

据国家文物局消息，总计68件流失英国文物于11月18日回归祖国怀抱。

The cultural relics, which were smuggled overseas, were retrieved following joint efforts from the administration and the country's foreign affairs and customs authorities since January.

今年1月以来，国家文物局与外交、海关等部门紧密合作，成功将这些走私文物追索回国。

With diverse ware types and fine quality, some of the cultural items have significant historical, artistic and scientific values, said Guan Qiang, deputy head of the administration.

国家文物局副局长关强表示，整批文物器型较为丰富，品相较好，精品较多，其中的一些具有重要历史、艺术和科学价值。

"It is a remarkable achievement jointly made by China and Britain in the pursuit and repatriation of lost relics in recent years," said Guan, adding that international law and order in this regard has seen historic change.

关强称，此次68件中国流失文物顺利回归，是中英两国合作打击文物走私、促进文物追索返还的成功范例，也是促进国际法秩序朝有利于文物返还的方向发展的重要成果。
